When I called because I was lost, he gave me his brothers number just so I could find my way, got in his car and found me because my phone died, then helped me with my bags, gave me three restaurants to choose from nearby that were open late, then he called the owner of the place I picked from his list told them to expect me, then DROPPED ME OFF because i am so bad with directions, (he also told me how to get home in the most simple way so i remebered!) the food at bar da mimmo did not at all disappoint and the VIEW! Right on the water, perfect, quick friendly service, AMAZING food. Steps from the beach. I listened to the ocean while I ate the most beautiful delicious pizza. My entire meal was €15. It was amazing. Absolutely more than above and beyond, this place is worth every penny and more! A *MUST* stay in Reggio Calabria. Aldo at the front desk is just simply AMAZING. I had only planned to stay one night and move on but the room, the service, the grounds!!! Aldo does not speak English but we use Google translate and he speaks very slowly so I can learn the words. Very thoughtful. Even in a low season, the entire staff went above and beyond to see to every need, gave me more than I ever expected, and the BREAKFAST!!! Oh my. Three tables of juice, yogurts, pastries, meats and cheeses, eggs, an entire basket of fresh cold fruit!!! The grounds are simply stunning, instagram people, this is it. Steps from the beach, sprawling garden and terrace, a truly grand event space! I cannot recommend this place more, what a gem. 15 min drive from the main train station, and so peaceful and quiet at night. Pure bliss. This is where it lives.

Sufficient and pleasant breakfast, I would be more careful when serving dried fruit that is clearly seasoned and soggy (better not to serve it). Well-kept outdoor space with olive trees and lawn, lack of taste in inserting Thai statues, lanterns and sofas covered in synthetic grass. The lobby is clean and spacious, with an adjacent breakfast room. The double rooms are small, with tea and coffee available, in the minibar 2 PLASTIC bottles of water in 2023 for a room costing 100 euros per night are an obscenity for those who care about details. The worst thing is the beds... small and very uncomfortable. I recommend changing laundry or avoiding using sheets and tablecloths with questionable odors. The structure overall is pleasant as is the courtesy towards the customer... unfortunately I hope you take advantage of my considerations. This is not intended as a complaint... on the contrary!!!.. I invite you to take advantage of my advice and the clients who will come.

This structure is really beautiful, you can breathe absolute peace. And it is located facing the sea and 10 minutes by car from Reggio Calabria. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast is plentiful, perhaps lacking a bit of salt. The only flaw is that the rooms are not soundproof and we could hear everyone passing by in the corridor
